Just Lovely

As I look at this vase of roses in my kitchen, I contemplate how lovely they are. I think about how much pleasure a simple bouquet of flowers can bring. As I delve deeper in thought, I remember how much I like this vase and how long ago I purchased it. I look at the lamp in the background and remember my husband carrying two of them through the airport terminals in both Argentina and Atlanta. The alluring and fascinating pieces that bring to mind joyous times, recollections of the past, the wonder of nature as in the roses, and all sorts experiences that just the thought brings smiles to our hearts and faces.

The kitchen is often thought of being the heart of the home.
